I’ve been to Honey Cup so many times, but the other location in Oxnard. I never realized how beautiful of seating this location has right on the harbor. The outdoor patio is such a nice spot to have coffee with friends or family and enjoy a delicious pastry. This location is right by the farmers market which is really nice. The pistachio croissant is INSANELY good. There’s no way to describe it besides that you must try it. Love honey cup!

Super cute shop, the desserts and sandwiches were yummy and enticing. The coffee was pretty good.... the lavender latte was average. The matcha with banana cold foam and toffee sprinkles was good. The cashier that took our order messed up our order (on a few different things) and like everyone else in line behind us. They probably should have pulled her off the register on the weekend cause she did not know it well. The staff were super swamped and flustered. It was a chaotic scurry and resolution on orders took a long time. But, they did resolve the issues and things were fine. There was quite the line but the treats are worth the wait. The pistachio croissant was heavenly. The rocher dessert was soooo good. The pruiscutto baguette could use more ingredients (they were very light with the brie and fig jam) but was still worth the try.

We ordered a couple of lunch boxes from Honey Cup Coffeehouse & Creamery for our trip to Channel Islands National Park after they were recommended by Island Packers Cruises. And let me tell you, when you’re heading to an island for kayaking and hiking, securing food starts to feel less like lunch planning and more like wilderness survival strategy. The online ordering process, though, gave my husband a minor technological character-building experience. Not especially intuitive or user friendly. Then, on the morning of the trip, we weren’t entirely sure where the lunches would actually appear. Tiny scavenger hunt energy. Thankfully, they were waiting for us at the ferry office, and we both immediately took the same relieved breath: “Excellent. We shall not perish on the island.” The sandwiches themselves were genuinely delicious. I had the Caprese, my husband had the turkey baguette, and both were fresh, flavorful, and substantial enough to fuel actual adventure instead of just delaying hunger by 20 minutes. Someone else took my croissant it was the last one they had. Probably the best thing that ever happened. The super nice team simply had me choose another pastry and what can I say some of the best I had. Dominique Ansel can pack up - the creme brulee croffin is amazing. The coffee, cappuccino, pistachio croissants... and home made ice cream. Made us feel like we are somewhere in Europe with the maritime harbor setting. Well done and keep it up!

I’m so glad that I stopped at the Honey Cup! The pistachio cream croissant was so delicious - it is a crumbly croissant filled with a sweet pistachio cream. I am already dreaming about tracking down a similar pastry back home if I can find something like it. I got the white macadamia coffee at first (large is pictured) and wasn’t a fan, so I asked the barista if I could possibly get something else. She was so kind and made me a cinnamon brown sugar vanilla iced latte which had a soft top on top which was delicious. Very cute cafe to hang out and do work at! I walked around for a bit after and looked at all the nice boats!
